If your problem is that, as a hit-and-run Arcane Trickster, your AC is too low, your movespeed is too slow, and you want more cantrips and spell slots? What problem are you trying to solve with the multiclass?
I find it most useful to frame multiclass conversations around the desired end goal.

Since you're not TWF, you can't use your BA for the second attack so you're free to use cunning for disengage and delay mobile. As you're relying on that single attack for your damage and control, getting your DEX to 20 is probably the play. Bladesinger is still great, of course, so pick whichever you think will be better for your purposes/enjoyment. Still, wizard 1 gets you a lot of good utility options out of combat as well courtesy of ritual casting and knowing both Shield and Find Familiar is great.Ĭonsider War school as an alternative to shore up your saving throws - especially your wisdom is pretty shaky. There's SA scaling, but you're also delaying AT spells meaning you'll only get Shadow Blade at level 9. The dip is good, but it comes with some considerations. Find familiar with 'help action' generates advantage for my sweet magic fueled sneak attacks, mobile feat, cunning action with Bladesong gives my squishy rogue the toolkit to stays alive in melee.My Stats are: 8,18,14,16,10,8 (with a starting half-feat with +1 Dex at lvl 1) PS: My (higher lvl) vision with this character is a hit N run style Rogue who uses mobile feat+booming blade+shadow blade to control the battlefield.
